What we are building

Astrid Cybernetics is an artificial intelligence research and product company. We build software that adapts existing language models for everyday tasks, with the aim of making them safe and reliable enough for ordinary people to use.

Language models have become unusually capable, but they are still difficult to shape around a person’s actual needs. A model can write, summarize, plan, and reason, yet using it for a real task still requires judgment about context, accuracy, and when to stop. Those decisions should live in the product, not only in a prompt.

Our work sits between a capable model and a useful tool: the constraints, interfaces, evaluations, and human judgment that turn a general system into something a person can rely on. We are beginning with everyday work—the small but consequential tasks that take time, attention, or expertise.
